FAIR PLAY POLICY
For World of Tanks esports tournaments organized by www.esvo.gg
1. Introduction
This Fair Play Policy is designed to ensure that all participants, teams, organizers, and viewers of World of Tanks esports tournaments are protected from unfair behavior and cheating.
The www.esvo.gg platform aims to create a transparent, honorable, and competitive environment for all participants.
2. General Principles
Fairness
All participants must comply with the game rules and refrain from seeking any unfair advantage.
Respect
Participants must show respect to other players, teammates, opponents, referees, and organizers. Any form of insult, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
Transparency
All tournament processes and decisions must be, as far as reasonably possible, clear and understandable to all participants. Organizers commit to providing reasonable explanations for key decisions related to the progress and results of the tournament.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Cheating
It is strictly forbidden to use cheat programs, modifications, or any other third-party tools that provide an unfair in-game advantage.
Match-fixing and collusion
Participants are prohibited from making arrangements with other teams or players about match results, intentionally losing, manipulating outcomes, or otherwise distorting fair competition.
DDoS attacks and network disruption
Any attempts to disrupt opponents’ connections, or to attack the game or tournament servers (including DDoS or similar attacks), are strictly prohibited.
Other harmful activities
Any actions that may damage the integrity of the tournament, the platform’s infrastructure, or the reputation of participants and organizers are forbidden.
4. Technical Requirements
Official game client
All participants must use the official version of the World of Tanks game without unofficial modifications, except those explicitly and officially approved by Wargaming.net.
Account security
Each participant is responsible for the security of their game account and login information. Account sharing, selling, or any other unauthorized use of an account may be treated as a violation.
5. Sanctions
Sanctions are applied at the discretion of the organizers, taking into account the nature, extent, and recurrence of the violation. Sanctions may be applied individually or in combination.
Warning
Minor or first-time violations may result in an official warning.
Disqualification from the tournament
Serious or repeated violations may lead to the disqualification of a player or team from a specific tournament or tournament stage.
Permanent disqualification
Particularly severe violations (for example, cheating, match-fixing, deliberate DDoS attacks, or systematic and serious rule-breaking) may result in an indefinite ban of a player or team from all tournaments organized by www.esvo.gg.
E-sport Pass and ESPT cancellation
Failure to comply with this Fair Play Policy may result in the cancellation of the E-sport Pass and/or ESPT (E-sport Pass Tokens). In such cases, the participant may lose all accumulated benefits and tokens without any right to compensation.
6. Appeals and Complaints
All complaints related to sanctions or the application of this Fair Play Policy must be submitted in writing within 24 hours from the announcement of the decision or penalty.
Complaints must be submitted via the channel specified by the organizers (e.g. email or the support system on www.esvo.gg).
The organizers reserve the right to conduct further investigation, request additional information, and make a final decision.
The final decision made by the organizers regarding a complaint is not subject to appeal.
7. Etiquette and Community Standards
Communication
Participants must communicate politely and respectfully both in-game (in-game chat) and in public channels (Discord, social media, etc.) related to tournaments organized by www.esvo.gg.
Public conduct
Participants represent not only themselves, but also their team, community, and the tournament. Therefore, they must behave responsibly and ethically even outside the matches.
Public behavior that clearly harms the reputation of www.esvo.gg, the organizers, the tournaments, or other participants may be treated as a violation of this Policy.
8. Policy Updates
www.esvo.gg reserves the right to update, amend, or modify this Fair Play Policy at any time.
